Let me show you one of our new projects: writting a specific newsletter to reach the young public, and especially the other EVS volunteers in Greece.
This newsletter would be a way to promote the CTP work, and maybe to obtain some help as well from... who wants.
So, here is the project :

Dear all! How are you?
Hope you are doing well!
I thought it is a good moment to introduce you, a new system of CTP volunteers of building net with other EVS volunteers in Greece and NGO’s here and with the
rest of our friends.
So here it is the first
newsletter that is short enough for you to have a lookJ
and there are two ways you
can response for that:
A) Tell us what kind of
field of activities you could support by chance (once, twice, every 2months- you decide) and we will be happy to host u in our house in Agios Germanos.
Or
B) Inform us you are not interested in receiving news like that at all and I shall take your
E-mail address out of
mailing list.

For those who want to keep
in touch, there is one more thing: We are letting you know about activities already organized and going on but we will be more than happy to receive ideas for a common project to be realized in
Prespa!!!

ACTIVITIES
When: every Saturday from 5pm until 7pm
Where: on a big Stadium built by EU so it has facilities inside and outside.
What: For now we play basketball and volley and also football but
all of them are more a street versions coz it’s easier to gather participants who do not have a lot of experience but want to have fun.
Who for: Youth over 13.
How: For now the project has got a kind of experimental form. It
is getting to know abilities of youth in Prespa, participation, and stuff. After we have teams created we want to organize bigger events.
How you can help: the easiest way is just to come and play match with
us, others are: bring another team with u so we can organize an event, if there are more than two teams it can be a very nice competitionJ
Hold a professional training in any of these 3 sport categories! Have u got more ideas? Let us know ASAP!!!

The project we created:
Cultural Caravan through borders has been approved by National Agency!!! Now we have started to implement it with all the crazy ideas we want to
make come true!
The inspiration
is to create a moving show (pull
by tractor or by feet) with
juggling, music, dance, theater and street art in July 2008.
We already have partners, but we are looking for:
- the Greek participants
- "experts" in those arts, that could supervise workshops
- people who would like to join our group to help, or to participate to
the show.
Participants and experts will have transport, accommodation and food provided thanks to the YiA programme. For the others, we can supply the
volunteer house and some food as well.

BIRIBA
COMPETITION
In
cold February we just have to animate activities that will wake us up and reminds not to waste too much time on sleeping… Locals go as a second motivation…-p Anyway there will be a
Biriba competition (card game that requires two people playing together and it is not really difficult to learn) from 15-17th February with a big final on Sunday 17th. Last competition will follow party in Steki and then in local bar La
Playa:-D

CARNIVAL
When: from 7-9th
March
What: There will be activities divided into two age groups for
kids and youth. Now we are working on a draft, but we already know what we want: parade and a party! The rest will depend on the
participation of people willing to help and then we can just realize all ideas we have!

Ideas for common
projects

1.
Prespa is a beautiful place with lakes and mountains and just perfect conditions to give an opportunity to kids/youth to take part in camp (do u know scouts who we do not know?). It could have a
thematic of environmental protection, or sth.

There is also a draft for Latin Party under preparation, we haven’t agreed on a date yet but maybe that’s a chance for u to let us know when would be a best time for u to come and join salsa in
STEKI Youth Club? All ideas welcome.
